The Brigandine Shoulder Pad is a low-profile, lightweight solution for handheld camera builds—designed to integrate seamlessly without slowing you down. The Brigandine is designed to help you transition to handheld and back without any reconfiguring, allowing you to be as efficient as possible on set. While a lot of shoulder mount systems either offset the camera too far forward causing added strain on your shoulders, back and neck, or add too much height to your rig throwing off your eye line, and adding unwanted tilt. The Brigandine keeps your camera as low as possible to your shoulder allowing for maximum contact and stabilization. The slotted mounting points allow you to fine tune the balance point of your camera for maximum comfort and control.
At just over 3/4" thick, it combines full-grain 12oz bridal tan leather, two layers of felt padding, and a rough-out leather underside for a soft, stable, non-slip feel.
Built for versatility, it features dual slotted stainless steel mounting points, and includes both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws for compatibility with a wide range of baseplates—from compact mirrorless camera setups to large cinema builds using dovetails or touch-and-go systems.
